DreamHack has announced all the details about the qualifying process for the Open event in London.
The next event on the DreamHack Open circuit will take Counter-Strike to the heart of London as the Copper Box Arena will host a $40,000 tournament featuring eight teams.
Five of those teams have been directly invited by DreamHack and will be revealed shortly, while the remaining three spots will be filled through two online qualifiers, one open for all European players, the other exclusive to UK-based teams.
On August 15-16, FACEIT will be hosting two open pre-qualifiers, each one open for up to 256 teams. The top two teams from these cups will then advance to a closed qualifier, in which they will be joined by four invited sides.
The Copper Box Arena will host DH Open London
The two finalists of this open qualifier, scheduled for August 17-19, will secure spots at DreamHack Open London.
As for the UK qualifier, it will be hosted by FACEIT on August 23 and will be limited to 128 teams. The winner will be rewarded with a spot at the DreamHack event.
